jpnn.com – BANTEN – Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno said the government is committed to supporting the growth of the Indonesian film industry.
According to him, the film industry is currently one of the pillars of the nation’s creative economy.
Therefore, the government is committed to continuing to create a supportive environment.
“The way to do this is through appropriate policies and regulations to encourage the growth and prosperity of the film industry,” said Sandi at the commemoration of National Film Day 2024 at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Serang, Banten, Friday (29/3).
Commemorating National Film Day 2024, a Monthly Film Festival (Fesbul) was held supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy with the theme ‘Government Participation in Indonesian Film’.
In his presentation, Sandi said that cooperation between the government, industry players and the community was very important to advance the Indonesian film industry.
He then invited all elements of society to welcome National Film Day 2024 with enthusiasm and pride.
“Let’s make this moment a new milestone in building a brilliant future for Indonesian cinema,” said Sandi.
