Mumbai: Sania Malhotra will play the lead role in the Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed Malayalam film ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’. On Wednesday, Sania herself shared the information with her fans on social media. She said on social media that she is very happy to be a part of the Hindi remake of ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’ and is looking forward to the start of shooting.
The film is directed by Aarti Kadav and produced by Harman Baweja. ‘One of the best screenplays I’ve ever seen’ is ‘The Great Indian Kitchen’. I am ready to give my voice for the film, ”said Aarti Kadav.
Sania has also shared a picture of herself with Harman and Aarti on social media.
The film tells the story of a young woman who finds it difficult to cope with household chores as expected by her patriarchal husband and family. The film stars Suraj Venjaramoodu and Nimisha Sajayan in the lead roles. The film is directed by Geo Baby in Malayalam.
