Sanjay Dutt Drops Out of Bollywood Movie Due to UK Visa Cancellation
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt was forced to withdraw from his upcoming movie ‘Son of Sardar-Two’ after the UK government canceled his visa. The cancellation occurred despite the actor having received and paid the required visa fee.
According to reports, Dutt was scheduled to travel to the UK for the film’s shoot but was denied entry due to his past legal troubles. In 1993, Dutt was convicted of illegal arms possession in India.
Dutt expressed his disappointment and frustration over the situation, stating, “One thing I know is that the UK government has not done the right thing.” He further criticized the UK government’s initial issuance of the visa, only to later cancel it.
The actor also alluded to the current climate in the UK, citing violent incidents and expressing his preference not to travel there. He concluded by stating that the UK government made a mistake and should rectify it.
Dutt is also set to appear in the upcoming Akshay Kumar film ‘Housefull-Five,’ with plans to shoot major scenes in the UK. However, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has opted to film the scenes in Mumbai instead.
