Mumbai: Shiv Sena (Uttar Pradesh) leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut on Sunday targeted Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Sanjay Raut said that even if Fadnavis takes birth 100 times, he will not be able to understand what is going on in the mind of NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar. In fact, a few days before Sanjay Raut’s comment, Devendra Fadnavis had claimed that Sharad Pawar had chosen three to four names for the post of Chief Minister before the state assembly elections, but Uddhav Thackeray was not among them.Sanjay Raut made this allegation
Speaking to reporters here, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Raut said did Fadnavis know in 2019 what Sharad Pawar was thinking and planning? Even if Fadnavis takes birth 100 times, he will not be able to understand what is going on in Sharad Pawar’s mind. If the ruling government in the state has any courage left, they should call for elections. Raut alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently conspired to create division among political parties and the families leading these parties. This allegation comes after the recent statement of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, in which he said that society hates those who break their families.

Attack on PM Modi-Shah
Ajit Pawar made this statement during a rally in Gadchiroli, where he tried to discourage Bhagyashree, daughter of party leader and state minister Dharmarao Baba Atram, from joining the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar). Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Raut said, “Who broke political parties and families (in Maharashtra)? Modi and Shah created divisions in political parties and even families. They (Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar) became victims of this. They should accept that they were threatened, pressurised or lured to break away from their parties.”

Cornered over Manipur violence
Raut claimed that whether it was the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena or Sharad Pawar’s NCP, both parties gave enough opportunities to Shinde and Ajit Pawar for many years, but they chose to switch sides. The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader also criticised Shah over the fresh violence in Manipur and accused him of neglecting the northeastern state.

Shah should visit Manipur, Jammu and KashmirAmit Shah has come to Mumbai to visit important Ganesh mandals and attend an event. Raut said that despite the attacks happening again in Manipur and the continued suffering of women, the Union Home Minister is in Mumbai. He (Shah) should go to Manipur, Jammu and Kashmir. What is his work in Mumbai? He should show courage to go to Manipur. At least seven people were killed and more than 15 injured in incidents of violence in Manipur in the last five days.
