Sanjay Rawat Interview | Shinde’s team cannot call themselves Shiv Sena

by time news

Mumbai,

Sanjay Rawat said that the party led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde cannot call itself Shiv Sena.

Another setback

A group of disgruntled Shiv Sena MLAs are currently forming a coalition government with the BJP. Due to this Shiv Sena has split into two.

In this situation, before the trust vote in the Assembly, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar removed Shiv Sena’s Legislative Party Leader Ajay Chaudhary and reinstated Eknath Shinde.

Similarly, he removed Sunil Prabhu from the post of chief whip of the Shiv Sena and approved the appointment of Bharat Gokawale from the Eknath Shinde faction. The move is seen as a further setback for former chief minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Shiv Sena chief spokesperson Sanjay Rawat said:-

Struggle in court

Disgruntled MLAs led by Eknath Shinde should first ask themselves some questions. They used the party symbol. They took advantage of all the benefits that came with it. Later they broke the same party.

We will definitely fight this in court. Eknath Shinde faction left Shiv Sena. Then how can they claim that their group is the original Shiv Sena party.

Suspension

Vice President Venkaiah Naidu suspended United Janata Dal Party chief Sarath Yadav for violating the party’s order not to participate in the event. This event did not even happen in Parliament. However he faced action.

However when we expect similar action to be taken against 16 MLAs. It is said that such rules do not apply to us. Is this acceptable?

It is not a parliamentary democracy if a person or a party decides according to their convenience.

This is what he said.
