Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and elected to bat in the third and final T20I match between India and Sri Lanka. India enters today’s match with four changes. Ishant Kishan has been ruled out of the Sri Lanka series due to injury in the last match. Apart from this, Jaspreet Bumra, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yusvendra Chahal were rested. Ravi Bishnoi, Kuldeep Yadav, Avesh Khan and Mohammad Siraj have been named in the squad to replace them. In the absence of Ishant Kishan, Malayalee batsman Sanju Samson will open the innings with captain Rohit Sharma.
Sri Lanka, on the other hand, have made two changes from the team they played in the last match. Wanderers and Lianage have returned to the team. India have already won the first two T20I series. Sri Lanka are trying to win at least one match in the series.
