Gianni Morandi, with the not indifferent contribution of Jovanotti, wins the evening of Sanremo 2022 dedicated to the covers. Their medley made up of two hits by Morandi – ‘Occhi di ragazza’ and ‘Un mondo d’amore’ – and two by Jovanotti – ‘Lucky boy’ and ‘I think positive’ – got the highest mark. In second place the couple formed by Mahmood and Blanco who interpreted a historic success by Gino Paoli, ‘The sky in a room’. The third step of the podium is for Elisa thanks to ‘What a feeling’ from the soundtrack of the musical film ‘Flashdance’.
The evening changes but does not upset the ranking of the Festival. In the lead remains the duo formed by Mahmood and Blanco; but in second place Gianni Morandi climbs, while the third step of the podium is occupied by Elisa.
