Sanremo never so social: the hashtag in almost 800 thousand tweets – Entertainment

On the first day of the Sanremo 2021 Festival, approximately 780 thousand tweets were published with the hashtag # Sanremo2021, 61% of the web audience represented by women and 39% by men. This is the main data processed by TIM Data Room which analyzes the ‘sentiment’ of the network on the Festival, following the trends of the main social networks. The moments in which more tweets were published with # Sanremo2021 were immediately after Aiello’s performance and before the nurse Alessia Bonari entered the Ariston stage (between 22.22 and 22.23) who recorded over 5 thousand tweets in a minute; immediately after the performance of Fedez and Francesca Michielin (between 10.39 pm and 10.40 pm) there were almost 5 thousand tweets in sixty seconds and after the performance of Loredana Bertè over 4 thousand tweets. The Maneskins are the most tweeted artists of the first day of the Festival with over 38 thousand posts including quotes and retweets. Achille Lauro got over 27,000 quotes and retweets on Twitter and Fiorello over 32,000. The top five artists competing for the number of Twitter citations during the evening are Maneskin – over 36,000; Fedez – almost 30 thousand; Arisa – over 22 thousand; Noemi – almost 18 thousand; Madame – over 16 thousand. Among the curiosities, Liguria, Basilicata, Marche are the regions in which the largest number of web searches on the Sanremo Festival has been carried out in the last 30 days. After Italy, Switzerland, Belgium and Spain are the countries that have carried out the most searches on Google relating to the Festival in the last 7 days.
