The candidate for the Head of Government for the “Va X La CDMX” coalition, Santiago Taboada, has reaffirmed its interest in the capital’s children by signing a series of actions under the motto “Commitment to Children #SuFuturoEsHOY”.

This event, which had the participation of 12 foundations, has the main objective of guaranteeing a protection system and an adequate budget for the little ones, thus ensuring a happy and safe childhood for all.

Within the framework of Boys and Girls DayTaboada interacted with the boys and girls present at the event, who expressed their concerns about issues such as the care system, linguistic diversity and feeding in schools.

The candidate responded by highlighting the importance of restoring programs and ensuring that all boys and girls have access to quality services.

One of the key points addressed by Santiago Taboada was the importance of children’s stays and child development centers.

He regretted the cancellation of these programs by the Federal Government and committed to reinstating them throughout Mexico City, following the successful model implemented in Benito Juárez during his administration as mayor.

Likewise, the candidate emphasized the need to recognize and respect the cultural and linguistic diversity of the city. He committed to improving the quality of public education, ensuring that all schools have the necessary resources to provide an inclusive and excellent education.

Regarding school feeding, Taboada proposed the return of the hot breakfast programas well as the implementation of full time schools that guarantee nutritious food for all boys and girls.

In addition, he committed to incorporating physical and sports activities in schools, with the participation of teachers who graduated from the Physical Education school.

In terms of health, Taboada highlighted the importance of guaranteeing universal access to medical care, especially for boys and girls.

He proposed starting a universal coverage program for minors, with the aim of preventing diseases and guaranteeing healthy development for all.

Finally, the candidate reaffirmed his commitment to working for the well-being and happiness of children in Mexico City.

He highlighted the importance of building a government that protects and promotes the rights of children, ensuring that all schools and daycare centers are of top quality and are accessible to all citizens.

In addition to his commitments to children, Taboada held a meeting with members of the Chapultepec Group, where he presented his proposals to promote the economic development of the city.

Among these proposals are the return of the “CDMX” brand, the creation of a Green Fund for infrastructure and environmental works, and the reactivation of the Tourism Promotion Fund.
