Thiruvananthapuram: The suspect who sexually assaulted a female doctor who had come for breakfast at the museum premises has been identified. Santhosh (40), a resident of Malainkeesh, who was arrested in the Kurkankonam home invasion case, is also the accused in this case. The complainant identified the accused.

The complainant identified Santhosh during the identification parade held at Perurkada Police Station. Santosh’s arrest in the museum case will be recorded soon. On Tuesday night, police arrested Santhosh, the driver of Water Resources Department Minister Roshi August’s PS, in the incident of trespassing at Kurkankonam’s house.

The police conducted an identification parade as he suspected his role in the case of harassing a woman doctor. After his arrest, the minister ordered him to be fired. A woman doctor was assaulted in the museum premises hours after the suspect entered the house at Kurkankonam.

On the day of the incident, Santhosh was traveling in an Innova car belonging to the water authority. After parking the Innova vehicle in the Kavadiyar area, the police got the CCTV footage of the entry into the Kurkankonam house. At the time of the assault on the woman doctor, the police found that this car was in the museum premises.
