Bhubaneswar: After defeating Odisha in the crucial match, Kerala has activated its chances of semi-finals in the Santosh Trophy. Kerala’s win was by a goal that was not contested. In the group, Punjab is on the first position with ten points from four matches. Karnataka is on the second position with eight points. If they beat Punjab in the crucial match on Sunday, Kerala can secure a semi berth with ten points.

Odisha fell under one foot

Odisha and Kerala played attacking football from the start in a match where victory was essential to maintain their chances of semi-finals. Kerala’s winning goal was scored in the 15th minute of the match. The Odisha star caught Kerala’s cross inside the penalty box and the referee pointed to the penalty spot.
