São Paulo is in the Paulista Feminino final! This Monday (13), São Paulo faced Santos, in Vila Belmiro, and won on penalties, 4-2, after beating their rival 3-2 in regular time.

To seek a place in the final, coach Thiago Viana selected the team with: Carlinha; L. Alves, Mimi, Ana Alice and Fe Palermo; Maressa, Aline and Rafa Mineira; Micaelly, Ariel Godoi and Glaucia.

Needing to reverse the negative result of 1-0 in the first game, the São Paulo team again started behind on the scoreboard, but sought a draw in the first half with Aline. Just before the break, he conceded another goal and left the field needing to score two more goals to take the dispute to penalties.

In the second half, Thiago Viana’s team scored with Glaucia and equalized the score and when everything was heading towards elimination, Ana Alice scored with a header to put the team in the penalty shootout.

On penalties, Maressa, Micaelly, Vivian and Pardal scored the goals and Carlinha saved a charge, confirming Tricolor in the final.

Now, Tricolor will face Corinthians, in round-trip games, to define the São Paulo champion.
