São Paulo drew 0-0 with Botafogo this Saturday (19), at Morumbi, for the opening of the return of the Brasileirão.
The first big chance of the first half was for São Paulo. At 10, Juan escaped on the left, invaded the area and finished with a left-handed shot for the goalkeeper’s defense. Before the break, Tricolor still arrived with danger in medium distance shots with Luciano and Welington, but the initial 45 minutes ended without goals.
São Paulo dominated the second stage and scored twice with Luciano at 17 and 33 minutes. However, on both occasions, the referee signaled offside. The São Paulo team continued to pressure the opponent until the last few minutes, but the scoreboard did not change.
