In yet another initiative aimed at inclusion, São Paulo now has an accommodation and sensory regulation environment for autistic fans at Morumbi. The space was named Sala TEA + Tricolor. The inauguration took place on Monday night (30), with the presence of President Julio Casares and many special guests.

The room was developed in partnership with Spider and will also have services administered by Centro Lumi. Both companies specialize in projects involving people with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Autistic fans who go to Morumbi will be accommodated in chairs close to the TEA + Tricolor Room. They will have ear muffs available, as well as specialists prepared to provide support in the event of deregulations.

On days when Morumbi does not host games, the space will be used for treatments offered by Centro Lumi, of which São Paulo members will have a discount.

The projects aimed at the autistic public meant that Tricolor became the first club to receive the “All of Us” seal, designed by the National Association for the Inclusion of Autistic People.

The demand for a space with these characteristics was detected by the work of the São Paulo Ombudsman’s Office and, since then, the club has started to study and work on the most appropriate ways of welcoming fans with autism.
