“The Civil Defense always recommends that the population, if they notice land displacement or a possible disaster, leave the risky location and contact 199”, says the statement. In addition to 199, the population can call the Municipal Police (153), Military Police (190), Samu (192) and Fire Department (193).
Among the alert points that need attention are the muddy water coming down from the hills, leaning poles and trees, sliding slopes and cracks that increase in the houses. Faced with these signs, the guidance is for people to leave home and look for safer places.
According to the Civil Defense of São Paulo, the forecast is for showers, electrical discharges, strong gusts of wind and hail in some regions of the state. The recommendation is to pay special attention to vulnerable areas, where landslides, landslides, floods and floods may occur.
