The interview setting is special: Sarah Connor sits inside a car, casually propping one leg. She wears a bright green bomber jacket over her black outfit. Even though the surroundings give no hint, the conversation becomes very profound.

“What should you always take time for?” She doesn’t have to think long: “For love. I believe it is really important to consciously take time for the people you love.” Especially in the fast-paced world we live in today, one tends to only engage superficially with others. Therefore, her wish is: “Look closely, listen carefully, and ask a good question at the right moment.”

“True Beauty is the Face of My Child”

Then the topic of “authenticity” comes up – authentic beauty and authentic love, to be precise. “True beauty for me is a sunrise and the face of my child when they are sleeping.” Sarah Connor is a mother of four. With her ex-husband Marc Terenzi (46), she has son Tyler (20) and daughter Summer (18), both of whom are now also visible on social media.

However, she keeps her two younger children with Florian Fischer (49) out of the public eye. Only the birth year and names of their children are known: daughter Delphine Malou was born in 2011, and her little brother Jax six years later.

But back to the interview.

Sarah Connor: “I Get All Emotional Right Away”

For Sarah Connor, true love is unconditional. But for her, this doesn’t mean “‘You are mine and I am yours’ and we are together forever.” Because: “I don’t believe in that concept. I believe rather that you should accept and love someone in their entirety.”

The highest art, however, is letting go. “You have to practice that; you have to learn it.” She knows what she’s talking about. “I’m currently experiencing this because I have two children who are slowly taking flights, leaving home, and studying in another country. That’s not always easy.” Suddenly, her eyes become glassy, she stifles a laugh: “I get all emotional right away.”

Understandably, given this hidden declaration of love for her children.
