Between January and July 2024, the Tax Administration Service (SAT), raised 2 trillion 943 thousand 846 million pesoswhich means an increase of 296 thousand 339 million pesos compared to the same period in 2023, an increase of 6.1%.
Only in Income tax (ISR), the tax authorities obtained up to 1 trillion 636 thousand 804 million pesos, an increase of 70 thousand 798 million pesos more, compared to the same period of the previous year.
For value added tax (IVA) 810 thousand 237 million pesos were obtained, that is, 82 thousand 350 million pesos more, which means a real growth of 6.2%; while the special tax on production and services (IEPS) a collection of 366 thousand 982 million pesos was recorded, which represents 125 thousand 205 million pesos more in nominal terms compared to the same period in 2023.
These results are thanks to the implementation of the Master Plan for Tax Inspection and Collectionwhich has allowed a level playing field in the collection of taxes without the need to create new ones or increase existing ones, as well as the commitment and honest work of public servants of the SAT that depend on the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.
