The Tax Administration Service (SAT) announced that starting August 1, 2024, five new service officeswith the aim of expanding the coverage of services to taxpayers.
The new tax assistance modules are: Tamaulipas: MST Miguel Aleman, Baja California: MST San Quintin, Campeche: MST Xpujil, Nuevo Leon: MST Emprendemos Monterrey y MST Santa Catarina.
He explained that in compliance with the Master Plan 2024, the SAT strengthens the capacity to serve and brings the most in-demand services closer to individual taxpayers in communities that currently do not have a office nearby.
“This action increases capacity by approximately 10,000 in-person appointments per month and ensures greater availability of appointments.”
The SAT, which depends on the Ministry of Finance (SHCP), added that the following procedures can be carried out in the new modules: Registration in the Federal Registry of Taxpayers (RFC), e.firma for natural persons, e.firma for renewal and revocation of natural persons, in addition to the delivery of a Tax Status Certificate.
A week ago, the tax authority stated that it collected 3.4 billion pesos from audits and compliance promotion, which represents 2.2 billion pesos more than in the previous six-year term.
