Saudi Arabia allows Umrah pilgrims to land at any airport in the country

Jeddah: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has said that there are no special airports for the arrival of Umrah pilgrims arriving in Saudi Arabia and pilgrims can disembark at any airport in the country. Pilgrims can enter both international and domestic airports. Pilgrims on Umrah visa can stay in the country for a maximum of 90 days. At the same time, the ministry said that apart from the holy cities of Mecca and Medina, Umrah pilgrims can also travel freely between other cities in Saudi Arabia.

The ministry explained that pilgrims can use the approved electronic platforms for Umrah services to plan the plan, apply for visas. Umrah visits must be recorded in the Itamarna app to ensure that the pilgrim is not infected with the coronavirus or has been in contact with an infected person. A valid visa is required to enter Saudi Arabia for registration and Umrah authorization on the Itamarna app.
