Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has prepared an innovative technical system to detect fake passports. The Passport Directorate has prepared four advanced technical devices to complete the travel procedures of pilgrims arriving in Saudi Arabia. One of these is detecting fake documents.
The database of more than 250 types of passports of different countries of the world is recorded in this system. This will quickly ensure that travel documents are not tampered with. The passport department also has a mobile bag service. It is a complete passport platform.
A mobile bag is used in emergency situations. Through this, the entry process of the passengers can be completed and biometric marks can be registered. A passport spokesperson said identification documents can be checked through vital biometric signs of people through the documentation camera attached to it.
