jpnn.comJAKARTA – Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo held a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Saudi Arabia HE Bader Alkadi to complete the agenda for a working visit to Saudi Arabia.

This meeting was based on a cooperation agreement previously agreed in October 2023.

The cooperation agreement concerns strategic youth and athlete exchange programs, as well as the development of the sports industry of the two countries.

Saudi Arabia also asked Indonesian Sepak Takraw and Badminton athletes to exchange experiences and coaching to strengthen each other’s sporting talents between the two countries.

This meeting then closed sweetly with Saudi Arabia’s commitment to support Indonesia’s bid to host the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

“The hope is that the meetings and programs that will be carried out together can continue to strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia and progress for both countries,” he said.(et al/jpnn)
