Riyadh: A fighter jet crashed during training in Saudi Arabia. An F-15S fighter jet of the Saudi Royal Air Force crashed. The S-15 Eagle, a twin-engine aircraft designed by McDonnell Douglas, went up in flames at the King Abdulaziz Air Base training ground during a training flight. The accident happened on Sunday night. It is reported that the reason behind the accident is a technical fault. A technical failure occurred during a routine training flight, the Saudi Defense Ministry said. Two Air Force pilots were on board at the time of the crash. They escaped by parachute without incident. The Ministry of Defense has started an investigation into the incident.
