Saudi: Saudi warned not to spread CCTV footage. The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced that violating the provisions of the Security Surveillance Camera Act will result in heavy fines. Penalties will be imposed on those who disseminate or release CCTV footage. A fine of twenty thousand riyals will be charged.

The release of video from the front of houses and CCTV footage of establishments will be treated as the same offence. These things were clarified by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The new provisions ensure privacy and security of individuals in the country. Unauthorized copying of CCTV footage or dissemination through social media will be punishable. It is not enough to install the cameras and check whether the cameras are functioning properly. The same fine should be paid even if the footage is destroyed. Vandalizing cameras and equipment in public places will attract fines. A fine of twenty thousand riyals is received. Also fines will be levied if cameras are installed in places where they should not be installed. This is a crime that carries a fine of ten thousand riyals. Institutional owners must maintain records of institutions. A certain amount of footage should be kept. Those who default will have to pay a fine of five thousand riyals

The 42nd Anniversary of the Sunday School Movement of Muscat Mar Gregorios Parish was celebrated on Friday, January 19 from 4:30 pm at St. Thomas Church. Parish Vicar Rev. Fr. Associate Vicar Rev. Fr. Program Convenor Mr. Sam Phillips welcomed the gathering which started with a prayer by AB Chacko. Then Sunday School Headmistress Mrs. Jessie Koshy presented the annual report. Parish Secretary Mr. Saji Abraham, Malankara Sabha Managing Committee Member Advocate Abraham Mathew, Managing Committee Representative Mr. Rofin K. John, Teacher Representative Mr. Binu John, Parent Representative Mrs. Ruby Shaji etc. extended their greetings. A variety of artistic performances by children presented a visual treat to the gathering.

Prizes were then distributed to the winners of the Sunday school annual examinations and art shows. Mrs. Tina Marie Thomas, Convener of the Program Committee expressed vote of thanks in the meeting.
