Saudi withdraws Kovid restrictions; Do not mask in closed areas

Riyadh: The Interior Ministry has announced that it is withdrawing some of the precautions and preventive measures related to the Kovid 19 defense in Saudi Arabia. No more wearing masks in closed areas. In addition, proof of vaccination is not required in Tawakkal to enter various centers and attend events. It is also not mandatory to board flights or public transportation.

The mask was removed from closed areas, except for Makkah Haram, the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, health centers, and places where special restrictions are issued.

The Interior Ministry said the lifting of restrictions was based on the country’s ongoing efforts in the Kovid situation and its achievements in combating the epidemic.
