Women driving is not new. We know women, from auto drivers to plane pilots. But now the focus on social media is on an aircraft that was serviced exclusively by female employees. One such plane took off in Saudi Arabia.

The airline was staffed entirely by women, including the pilot, co-pilot and first officer. It was a Flyadil flight from Riyadh to Jeddah. The information, including the picture, was leaked through the airline’s official Twitter account. There were seven people on the crew.

Most of the crew members are Saudi nationals. Saudi Arabia’s youngest female pilot, Yara Jan, 23, was also on the flight as a co – pilot. The members of the crew were Ravia Al Rifi, Hanadi Zakaria Al Hindi, the first woman to hold a Saudi commercial pilot’s license, and Yasmin Al Maimani, the first woman to co – pilot a commercial aircraft in Saudi Arabia.
