Savigny-le-Temple: six years in prison for beating his girlfriend with an iron bar

Six years of imprisonment, one of which is suspended and continued detention: this is the sentence to which a young man aged 19 was sentenced on Monday at the Criminal Court of Melun. Justice was firm in the face of this individual who showed great violence towards his girlfriend of the same age last April.

It all starts on the night of Saturday April 1 to Sunday April 2 in a social residence for young people under 30 in Savigny-le-Temple. She lives there with her boyfriend. But that night, an argument between them turns sour. He hits her with his fists and iron bars. Given the bruises on her head, her body, and her broken elbow, he drove her on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. to the emergency room of the southern Ile de France hospital group (Ghsif) in Melun.

But facing the caregivers, the young woman does not reveal anything about the facts or the violence of her executioner. She claims she fell. Plastered on the elbow, she comes out and goes home.

His victim got away with 45 days of ITT

Alas, things are getting worse. On the night of April 3 to 4, following a new argument, the violent spouse hit her with an iron bar on her cast, on the nose. He slaps her. He even tries to strangle her. At 6.35 a.m., he left her in such a state that he called the fire brigade, but fled.

The emergency services intervened and transported the injured person to the hospital. The report is terrible: cranial traumatism, laceration, various fractures… The young woman is leaving there with 45 days of total incapacity for work (ITT). Enough is enough. Childhood social assistance (ASE), which follows her regularly, immediately alerts the police.

The investigators of the agglomeration police station of Melun Val de Seine are looking for him. Following surveillance, he was arrested on April 5 at Mée-sur-Seine, not far from his mother’s home. It turns out that he is unfavorably known to the police for acts other than domestic violence. He will be able to think in prison.
