Mumbai: Sachin Tendulkar has given instructions to the Indian players preparing for the Test series against South Africa. Tendulkar has suggested playing on the front foot on South African pitches. India will play three Tests in South Africa. The first Test starts on December 26 at Centurion.

In the first 25 overs, Tendulkar said he wanted to focus on front foot defense. He explained, “Just look at the way Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul have scored runs in England. Their front foot defense was strengthened. The hands should be close to the body while playing. When the hands go that far, the batsman loses control, ”he said.

“The bowlers want to take wickets. At some point they may have fallen into defeat. But it does not matter. Rahul and Rohit should be role models. When the hands move away from the body, there is a chance that the ball will edge and come out, ”said Tendulkar.

India are confident of winning the series by beating New Zealand 1-0. It is a golden opportunity for India to win the series against a weakened South Africa.
