Sawthe horror franchise that started in 2004 and has tried to stay current in recent years, will return this 2023 with a tenth installment that promises ‘go back to your roots‘after the commercial failure it entailed’Spiral‘, a spin-off set in the same universe and starring Chris Rock.
‘Saw X‘ (Saw 10) is the official title of the film and will feature the return of Tobin Bell playing ‘Jigsaw’ (John Kramer). At 80 years old, it is still not clear how this return will take place, considering that the character died as a result of a terminal illness, but his legacy continued thanks to his apprentices.
Through Twitter, director Kevin Greutert confirmed that the recordings of Saw 10 finished and congratulated the entire production team, as well as the actors, for the work they did. Greutert mentioned that almost the entire film was recorded in Mexico City, as well as revealing that he suffered from covid-19 in the last 2 weeks before finishing the tape. In his message, he called attention to the fact that he included the name of a certain actress who had a presence in the previous films, and we did not know that she would be present.
The new film will be released this October 27th.

Along with Tobin Bell, who will also appear in the film will be Shawnee Smithwho throughout several installments of the saga played Amanda Youngone of Kramer’s main disciples, having survived Jigsaw’s deadly games and giving him ‘a new meaning to life‘.
