SB Only the tender malpractice case against Velumani is cancelled!

Former AIADMK Minister S.P. The Madras High Court has ordered to quash only the tender malpractice case against Velumani. It has also said that the property transfer case against him can be investigated further.

The Chennai High Court has adjourned the judgment of the cases filed by former minister Velumani seeking cancellation of the cases registered for irregularities in the allocation of rent and spending more than the income.

Ex-Minister S.P. has requested to cancel the cases registered in Chennai and Coimbatore Municipal Corporations for committing irregularities in applying for tenders for various works and spending more than their income. Velumani had filed petitions in the Chennai High Court.

The trial of these cases was completed before a bench comprising Justices PN Prakash and Deekaraman, and the verdict was postponed.

In this case, the judges who ruled in this case today, S.P. They ordered to cancel only the tender malpractice case against Velumani. They dismissed his plea and closed the case saying that they can continue to investigate the case of transfer of property against him.
