SC East Bengal drew with Jamshedpur FC in the third match of the Indian Super League at Tilak Maidan. In the 17th minute, Franco Presse SC East Bengal took the lead from a corner taken by Antonio Presovic. The Jamshedpur player’s body hit the ball into the net, but the goal was scored by Croatian defender Prese, who got the ball into the net with an acrobatic bicycle kick.
However, in the 48th minute, captain Peter Hardley scored for Jamshedpur from a corner taken by Alex Lima. The goal was assisted by Nervous Valskis. Jamshedpur came out on top with two changes in the second half. Ishant Pandit and Komal Thattal, who played for FC Goa, were dropped. SC East Bengal came down unchanged. Jamshedpur could not change the result, though they came down as a substitute and often brought down the pundit who scored the goal.
