Discover the secret behind the calls in which nobody answers

Have you ever received a call and when you answer, there is no one on the other end of the line? This situation can be frustrating and bewildering, especially if it occurs frequently. But do not worry, there is an explanation behind these missed calls.

According to experts, most of these calls are made by autodial bots looking for active numbers to call. When someone answers, the call is transferred to a human operator or used to update a database.

However, if no one answers when you answer, it is likely that the call was generated by a robot that you have exceeded the limit of calls that you can handle simultaneously. In this case, the robot automatically disconnects from the call without leaving any message or information.

This practice, known as “robocalling“, it can be annoying and invasive, but there are steps you can take to minimize its impact. One option is to use call blocking apps that filter incoming calls from unknown or suspicious numbers. Another option is to simply ignore unknown calls and not answer numbers you don’t recognize.

In any case, it is important to be aware that these calls are not personal and there is nothing to worry about if there is no answer on the other side of the line.

Scammers don’t rest. That’s why you have to always be alert. Furthermore, through any means and under any circumstances. That is what the bodies and security forces advise citizens. One of the last warnings from the Police comes after the latest fashion scam, that of Microsoft.

The scam in question is carried out by telephone. In one call, the scammer poses as a Microsoft worker and alerts that the victim has a problem with her computer. With this, what they intend is to collect personal and bank details of the unsuspecting recipient of the call.

As numerous victims have warned through social networks, in this situation what you have to do is not provide personal and bank details that could be used in the future by the fraudster. One of the main tips when the call is detected is to immediately strain and, immediately afterwards, block the number from which the call has been received to avoid future fraud attempts.
