There were so many puzzling events surrounding the construction that the Public Procurement Office became interested in it. As it turned out? Well, during the tender for the construction of the new stadium, the Public Procurement Law Act was violated.
Initially, the plan assumed two stands at the stadium and just over 4,000 seats. seats. However, the plan changed, two more stands were added to it and an annex was signed for the expansion of the stadium.
— Immediately after the tender for the construction of the facility in the “design and build” system was settled, the officials decided to extend the investment by adding additional stands and closing the stadium. In this case, in March last year, the company concluded an annex to the signed contract, and according to UZP, it should launch a separate tender for this project, PAP reported.
But that’s not all. – By a strange coincidence, after winning the tender, Jan Kos became the sponsor of the club for which he is building the stadium – explains the informant Weszlo.
Not only in terms of the tender, many issues are doubtful here. The facility also had several designers, and the visualizations of the stadium changed several times. Interestingly, the last time this happened was just a few days ago. Will the planned completion of the facility, which was supposed to take place in three months, be postponed to a later date? In Nowy Sącz, they are convinced that nothing like this will happen.
