I think they showed me all the scripts of Marilyn Monroe. I thought, ‘Is this the end of the creative road?'”, the actress recounted about what she thought would be the end of her career.
Alfonso Cuarón’s film ultimately starred Sandra Bullock, however, for Iron Man 2, the tide changed for her. Johansson benefited from the fact that Emily Blunt had to drop out of the project at the last moment due to a prior contractual obligation, which forced her to do Gulliver’s Travels instead.
