This was said by the secretary of the Democratic Party, Elly Schlein, who this morning participated in the demonstration in front of the gates of the Industria Italiana Autobus plant in Bologna, responding to those who asked her what was wrong with the Meloni government’s intention to cut bonuses and protect minimum pensions. “We will ensure that” the pension cuts, she says, “do not happen and we will stop them, because they would like to intervene in a way that is perhaps less visible, for example by saving the inflation indexation. I would like to point out that the increase in prices has been felt by 17%, this means that after two years of the Meloni government, Italians are having more difficulty than before in doing their shopping.
