The beloved cooking reality of Keshet 12 opened the season of the decade two weeks ago. The audition stage is at its peak and many contestants try to surprise and impress the judges with a variety of complex dishes. In the program that will be broadcast tonight (Tuesday), one of the contestants surprises the judges with the simplest and most beloved children’s dish.
A particularly brave contestant chose to serve schnitzel and chips in his entrance test – a simple and easy-to-prepare “junk food” dish, one that comes from the world of children’s dishes and not one that corresponds with top-notch and meticulous cooking. The tough judges of the show failed to remain indifferent to a dish that surprised them as well.

Filming for the auditions began last October just a week after one of the show’s veteran judges, Michal Ansky, gave birth to her third daughter, “Udi.” In an Instagram post, the beloved judge shared a photo of her baby daughter and wrote “I started this season with no choice when I left the delivery room, a week old Audi in this photo. Breastfeeding auditions just like her sister did a year earlier and Daniela ten years earlier.” Perhaps the presence of Ansky’s children on the set is what planted in the brave contestant’s mind the idea of presenting a children’s portion at the audition.
