The Roche Institute Foundation has launched the fifth edition of its call for training grants in the area of Data Science in Personalized Precision Medicine
The Roche Institute Foundation launches the fifth call for scholarships for training in the area of Data Science in Personalized Precision Medicine. Specifically, four scholarships will be awarded with a value of 80 percent of the registration fee for the VII edition of the Master in Bioinformatics and Data Science in Personalized Precision Medicine and Health. It is a Title of the National School of Health of the Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII), estimated at 5,600 euros each.
The Clinical bioinformatics is a highly demanded professional specialty due to the enormous volume of data that is being generated in the field of health. The development and application of artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms for image analysis in clinical trials; the analysis and management of big data derived from electronic medical records; the use of massive sequencing technologies and the consequent generation and interpretation of multi-omics data in Personalized Precision Medicine; These are just some of the applications that Bioinformatics has to solve problems related to health. This area of knowledge requires the incorporation into the health system of new professionals trained in Data Science
Scholarships for training in Bioinformatics and Data Science
The bases and the scholarship application form are available at the web of the Roche Institute Foundation. These applications may be submitted from today June 1 to next July 1, 2023. The Master is aimed at all those people who have an interest and desire to learn Bioinformatics applied to the clinical setting. Especially for graduates or graduates in Medicine, Computer Science and other engineering, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Pharmacy, Mathematics, Statistics and Physics.
