The School Activities Department of the Ministry of Education of the Libyan government assigned by Parliament organized, over two days, various creative competitions in the city of Derna, as part of the school activities plan for the 2024/2023 academic year.
The competitions include the announcer, preacher, muezzin, poet, and young narrator, in addition to the Quran memorization and recitation competition and the children’s drawing exhibition.
The competitions aim to develop children’s skills in the areas of expression and communication, discover their unique talents, and motivate them to be creative and innovative.
Kindergartens and school students participated in these events, competing at the level of their regions to reach the final stage at the level of Libya.
The children’s drawings exhibition also included more than one hundred and fifty paintings created by children and students from various municipalities.
These activities come within the framework of the plan of the Ministry of Education of the Libyan government, assigned by Parliament, to support school activities and develop creative skills among children, reaching its final station at the country level.
