Precariousness and an uncertain future are the two pillars brought forward by the demonstrators. Two themes that intertwine and that make education in Italy uncertain and complicated. “Today we are here, teachers, temporary workers and students, united to ask for a better school”, is heard shouting from the microphone. “We are with the teachers because we and they are not enemies, far from it”, explains Tommaso Falcon, student and member of the organization ‘Osa’. “The battle we are waging is important because the workers have rebelled, managing to obtain internalization. Today there are still more than a thousand places left to be filled, but the decree to start the ban has not yet come out. The government knows everything, but it doesn’t do anything “, explains Nadia Ciardiello of the Cobas national executive.
