Schools closed Monday and Tuesday in 279 municipalities

Many children and adolescents in Pas-de-Calais will not be able to go to class on Monday and Tuesday. Schools will remain closed in 279 municipalities in the department due to flooding affecting the area, the prefecture announced in a press release on Sunday.

These closures concern “crèches (with the exception of hospital crèches), nursery schools, primary schools, middle schools and high schools”, she specified.
