In the new academic year, schools will be commissioned in Khankendi and Khojaly.
As reported by Day.Az, the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan reported this on Monday in response to a request from Trend.
“The current repairs in the building for 132 students for the full secondary school of the city of Khojaly are 100 percent complete,” the ministry noted.
It was emphasized that the work scheduled for July had been completed.
“The commissioning of the school is planned for the current year. Also, current repairs are being carried out in the building for 624 students for the full secondary school in the village of Karkijahan in the city of Khankendi. The work planned for July (about 45 percent of the total volume of work) has been completed. In total, 70 percent of the work has been completed. Finishing work, polishing of the wooden floor, electrical and plumbing work are being carried out in the interior. Commissioning is also planned for the current year. In addition, in the city of Khankendi, repair and construction work is planned in a general education institution, the commissioning of which is planned for the current year,” the department added.
Let us recall that in accordance with the “I State Program for the Great Return to the Liberated Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, work is being carried out on the construction, major repairs and restoration of educational institutions in the liberated territories.
