Accordingly, it has been decided to reopen schools for students from 1st to 12th class from Jan. 24. Chief Minister Uttam Thackeray has approved the decision to reopen schools. Following this, he said, schools would reopen following Corona protocol.

In Maharashtra, 43,697 people have been newly infected with corona in the last 24 hours. 49 people were killed. 214 people have been affected by the omega-3 infection. Thus, the total number of corona infections in the state has increased to 73,25,825. At the same time, the death toll rose to 1,41,934.
