A botanical wonder
A plant with the largest leaf in the world has been discovered in the Kiev Botanic Gardens in the British capital, London. Its name is ‘Waterlily’. It grows in water. Its leaves grow up to 10 feet wide. Its flower is larger than the average size of human head. The diameter of this flower when unfolded is 36 cm. It has already been discovered after 177 years from this park. It has been reported as a wonder of the botanical world.

A long tunnel
Norway has the longest tunnel in the world. Liardal there – connects the regions of Ireland. Its length is 24.51 km. Work on this started in 1995 and was inaugurated in 2000. It is a two-lane road. An average of 2050 vehicles ply daily. The width of the road is 30 feet. It can go at a speed of 80 km per hour. 25 lakh cubic meters of rocks were broken to build this road. Japan’s Yamate Mine is second on the list. Its length is 18.20 km.
