A scientific event, dedicated to the memory of Nikis Agnantis, with the theme “Modern views on the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of cancer” is organized by the Ioannina Branch of the Hellenic Cancer Society for its 30 years of operation.
The conference will take place on Sunday, April 21, at 12 noon, at the “Dimitrios Hatzis” Cultural Center in Ioannina. The coordinator will be the president of the branch, ENT doctor Evangelos Golas and the speakers will be the rector of the University of Ioannina Anna Batistatou, the professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the University of Ioannina Evangelos Paraskevaidis, the professor of General Medicine of the University of Ioannina Athena Tatsioni and the psychiatrist – psychotherapist Fotis Moygiannis .
The event, which will be honored with the presence of the president of the Hellenic Cancer Society Evangelos Filopoulos, will close with a musical performance by Dimitra Igoumenidis on the piano.
