Harbin Institute of Technology and China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation have unveiled a unique project – the first scientific center of its kind in China called the Space Environment Modeling and Research Center (SESR).

The press service of the project reports this.

Its impressive territory covers an area comparable to 50 football fields, promising to become an important link in the Chinese science and space industry. This unique simulator has the ability to adapt environmental conditions for various space explorations.

It consists of four main laboratories that conduct research into the effects of space dust, temperature fluctuations and charged particle levels on spacecraft and astronauts. The Space Environment Modeling and Research (SESR) Center’s primary goal is to accelerate scientific research by providing the ability to conduct experiments on Earth that previously required sending equipment into space.

This makes research more controlled, safe and accessible, opening up new opportunities for scientific discovery and development.

Previously, Cursor wrote that during experiments on the use of asteroid redirection technology, NASA accidentally caused the object to split into many fragments. Even the smallest fragments falling onto the Earth’s surface could have the potential to cause serious consequences.

In addition, “Cursor” wrote that research into the aging process of glass led to an amazing discovery: scientists discovered the first unique physical evidence of the reversibility of material time. This discovery creates the impression that there is some kind of arrow of time, clearly dividing the past and present from the future.
