Scientists have named the timing of the emergence of 6G in Russia

Experts from the Radio Research Institute and the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology have published a forecast regarding the timing of the appearance in Russia of the sixth generation of cellular communications (6G).

Scientists suggest that the trial operation of the 6G standard may begin in the Russian Federation as early as 2028–2029.

“And work equipment will enter serial production at the turn of the 2030s … and will be controlled by artificial intelligence. Thanks to the new standard, consumers will have access to holographic calls and tactile internet,” the study said.
