As a result of the study, scientists have concluded that green tea helps burn visceral fat that accumulates around vital organs during sleep. This is evidenced by the data published on the website of the publication Al-Quds.

The article notes that not every tea has this unique property, but oolong tea. It contains a large amount of organic substances from the group of flavonoids – catechins. Also, experts have identified a feature of the action of oolong tea – after drinking the drink, fat continues to be burned even while a person is sleeping.

As part of the study, participants drank 300 ml of oolong tea four times a day. After a month and a half, their fat mass dropped by almost a kilogram. This allowed scientists to conclude that tea improves metabolism in the body and increases the metabolic rate by 2.9% in comparison with water.

Earlier on October 17, scientists from Japan said that regular consumption of kiwi helps reduce oxidative stress in the muscles of the body, which helps to get rid of fatigue, reduce the risk of injury and accelerate recovery. According to them, this fruit contains a large amount of antioxidants that protect the body from oxidative processes, which has a positive effect on health.
