He said he would gladly accept any future punishment, as well as criticism and reprimands. Finally, he added, “I once again bow my head and sincerely apologize for causing social controversy and disappointing many people.”
Suga admitted to the charges during his first police summons on the 23rd, 17 days after being caught drunk driving. He is suspected of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving).
