Unnao: A Scorpio going from Delhi to Faizabad on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway lost control and overturned. Due to this, five of the six people travelling in the Scorpio died. One was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at the district hospital. All the people travelling in the Scorpio are said to be residents of Ayodhya. The incident is from Bangarmau police station area.
According to the information, a black Scorpio (UP 32 ME 9493) lost control and overturned near kilometer number 236 of Agra-Lucknow Expressway. Due to this, 5 out of 6 people riding in the Scorpio died. This accident happened around 6 pm on Thursday. On receiving the information, UPDA and police team reached the spot and took the bodies in their custody and sent them for post-mortem. In this accident, Vaibhav Pandey, age 35 years, resident of Ayodhya, Manoj Singh, age 45 years, resident of Ayodhya and Arvind Singh, age 40 years, died on the spot. The three injured people were first sent to Bangarmau CHC for treatment. Where the doctors, seeing the critical condition of the injured, referred them to the district hospital. During treatment here, Mahendra, age 38 years and Anuj, age 45 years also died.
Information given to family members
CO Bangarmau Arvind Chaurasia said that five people have died in this accident and all of them are said to be residents of Ayodhya. Their families have been informed. They are reaching the spot.
