In a village in the southern Thai province of Trang, the public helped a sea cow that had been stranded with cuts get back into the sea.
Some people standing on the shore, while bleeding from deep cuts found on the body of the sea urchin, poured seawater on it to reduce the irritation of the wounds.
They then put it on the tarpaulin and helped it move back into the Andaman Sea. Some even swam a short distance inside with the sea cow.
