A restaurant on the coast of Bari was closed and seized by the Port Authority staff during an inspection. The inspection revealed serious hygienic, sanitary, and structural deficiencies, as well as violations of hygiene regulations. The two partners of the restaurant business, a man and a woman aged 51 and 56 respectively, were reported for threatening behavior, with potential harm to both people and property. They were fined 3,000 euros, with an additional 200 euros for failing to display the required maritime state concession documents and premises plan. During the inspections, structural deficiencies and piles of bricks and dirt were identified near the restaurant.
